The Arc is embracing a new project that uses plastic-free cement patties that will serve the same purpose as oyster mats. Wheels & Keels donations support the employment of special needs individuals in Indian River County who will be employed to make cement patties that provide multiple benefits to improve the health of the Indian River Lagoon.

Crossover Mission, Inc
Crossover Mission, Inc., is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support and redirect at-risk youth through after school programs run by dedicated coaches and mentors. The program uses basketball as a tool to attract and motivate student athletes, academic support to monitor and promote achievement, and one-to-one mentors to provide local and world exposure to young minds.

Lines in the Lagoon
Lines in the Lagoon raises awareness and educates youth and adults about the health and importance of the Indian River Lagoon. Activities include an annual fishing tournament and participation in numerous lagoon-oriented improvement projects. Financial support from Wheels & Keels helps Lines in the Lagoon provide youth-oriented activities and supplies to carry out their mission.

Navy SEAL Trident House Charities
The Navy SEAL Trident House is a waterfront residence in Fort Pierce that provides temporary refuge for the families of the Special Operations community. Wheels & Keels donations help Trident House Charities offer a peaceful respite for those who have served, as well as a place of healing for the grieving families who have lost loved ones in training or combat.

Music Angels Education Fund
Music Angels Education Fund Our mission is to "Lift Children into the World of Music." We are devoted to making a difference in our community and filling a need for children to be able to experience the benefits of music. Emphasis is placed on identifying children who might not otherwise have access to music and who will reap the benefits that impact all areas of their lives. Funds provide private music lessons to children from ages 4 to 17 years. goes here

Sebastian River Rowing
Sebastian River Rowing offers access to the sport of rowing to the surrounding communities and provides opportunities to learn, train and race. The program started in 2006 with the help of the Administration and Athletic Department of Sebastian River High School. The program has qualified for Scholastic Nationals most of the years it has been in operation and has won 10 Scholastic State championships. Program offerings were expanded to include the middle school team “The Barracudas.”

Special Equestrians of the Treasure Coast is a non-profit organization that fosters personal achievement through equine-assisted activities for individuals with special needs in a safe and stimulating environment. All instructors are certified through PATH International and must meet the association’s high standards for safety, teaching and continued education.

Vero Beach Rowing
Vero Beach Rowing promotes and teaches the sport of rowing to develop physical fitness, personal character, and an ethic of cooperation through competitive and recreational athletics. Wheels & Keels donations are used to continue offering financial assistance to economically disadvantaged youth, summer rowing camp scholarships, and programs supporting the physical and emotional struggles of recovering cancer patients, Veterans and other groups.

Youth Sailing Foundation
Youth Sailing Foundation offers free sailing classes to children ages 8 to 18 from all social and economic levels including adaptive sailing for special needs individuals. Wheels & Keels donations support the free sailing programs that enroll approximately 180 children in two 10-week long sessions.
